Tottenham beat Austria’s LASK Linz 3-0 on Thursday in their Europa League debut. The victory in London was built initially with a goal by Brazilian Lucas Moura. The other two were from Andrade (against) and South Korean striker Son Heung-Min. Debutant, center forward Carlos Vinícius made the two assists.

Lucas Moura opened the scoring after 18 minutes of play. Davies sent to Carlos Vinícius, who arranged for the shirt 27 to touch the goalkeeper’s exit. Tottenham’s second goal, scored by Andrade, came after a cross from Gareth Bale. South Korean Son closed the account after 39 minutes of the second half.

That was Bale’s first game as a Tottenham holder on this return to the club, after seven years defending Real Madrid. He had already debuted last weekend, in the 3-3 draw with West Ham, for the English Championship.
