Tottenham could sell the most expensive player in its history a year after buying it, reports the Daily Mail today. Tanguy Ndombélé cost £ 54 million in 2019 but is already on coach José Mourinho’s list of tradable.
According to the publication, Mourinho understands that Ndombélé has not adapted to the requirements of the English Championship and has already warned the board that, in case of proposals, he will not prevent the player from leaving. More than that, he said it would be nice to find a club willing to buy the 23-year-old.
Ndombélé arrived at Tottenham when Mauricio Pochettino was still training the team. However, it lost space with the arrival of Mourinho in the middle of the season. Despite the willingness to sell Ndombélé, the transfer is not considered easy. According to the newspaper, Tottenham will only accept to negotiate it for an amount close to what it paid a year ago.
